From Chaos to Clarity
I didn’t start with my life together.
Born into instability, I bounced between homes, behavioral facilities, and eventually juvenile incarceration. But at 18, walking out of that correctional facility, I knew I was meant for more.
What I didn’t have was the tools to build it.
College attempt #1: Failed. I had vision but no discipline, dreams but no system.
At 20, everything changed. I surrendered my life to Christ, met my wife, and began walking in sobriety and calling.
Nearly a decade later, I returned to college—this time with clarity and conviction—graduating with a Bachelor of Theology and a 4.0 GPA.
The Failure That Taught Me Everything
I served as a pastor for three years. But even in ministry, old patterns resurfaced. I relapsed—not because I lacked faith, but because I hadn’t learned to renew my mind daily.
That failure became my greatest teacher.
It showed me that transformation requires more than good theology—it requires daily systems that align your life with God’s truth.
Where I Am Now
Today, at 42, I’m married for over 20 years, father of two, full-time railroad worker, and Sunday School teacher.
I’ve built NeuroSanctum because I’ve learned something crucial:
The mind is not sacred yet—it becomes sacred through renewal.
When your thoughts align with His truth, your mind becomes a conduit for God’s thoughts. When the mind becomes sanctuary, the Spirit dwells. And fruit grows naturally—not through willpower, but through right soil.
What I Bring
I integrate what most people keep separate:
- Neuroscience — How your brain actually rewires
- Psychology — Evidence-based approaches to identity and habit
- Theology — The foundation of who you are and who you’re becoming
These three are never separated. They work together because God designed them to.
My Credentials
- B.S. in Psychology (Summa Cum Laude) — Cognates in Life Coaching & Addictions Recovery
- B.A. in Theology
- Currently pursuing M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
- Certified in Life Coaching, Mental Health Coaching, and Sexual Addictions Recovery Coaching
My Approach
Vulnerable brother-to-brother, not guru.
I’m further down the road on some things, still in the ditch on others.
Grace-first, not moralistic. Direct, masculine, theologically grounded, practically applicable.
I walk alongside men through the death of the false self and emergence of who God made them to be.
Powerlessness → Surrender → Grace → Transformation
Who I Serve
Christian men 25-50 struggling with:
- Isolation
- Addictive patterns
- Meaninglessness
- Identity confusion
- Spiritual disconnection
Men who keep failing and think they can’t change. Men who feel stuck in old patterns. Men hungry for Biblical Flourishing.
